Tee Time Magazine’s 19th Hole
In golf, the nineteenth hole is a slang term for a pub, bar, or restaurant on or near the golf course, very often the clubhouse itself.[1] A standard round of golf has only eighteen holes of play.[2] An alternate term for a bar is a “watering hole;” thus, by extension, continuing the day after 18 holes of golf at a watering hole makes the bar a “nineteenth hole.” – Wikipedia
At Tee Time Magazine we dedicate our 19th hole to sharing interesting articles highlighting the finer things in life that can be enjoyed after an exhilarating day on the course.

Beyond Chardonnay And Pinot Grigio
According to the country’s most recent wine industry reports, Americans really only consume approximately four grapes. Considering there are over 10,000 varieties of wine grapes in the world, we have a considerable way to go before we can begin to categorize ourselves oenophiles.

Practice ‘Tasting’ Makes Perfect
Golf, much like life, is a game of skill, confidence and hard work. If we don’t practice we don’t succeed, and if we don’t strive to look beyond our own skill set we don’t improve. Oddly, my life as a sommelier is very much the same.
