As Rory’s final putt crawled into the left side of the hole, the Psychic felt as exhausted as Rory looked. He did not fall to his knees and sob…. but the Psychic felt a huge sense of relief. The drama of the 2025 Masters was a 72-hole marathon lived by players and fans alike. Tough hole locations, firm greens and Mother Nature’s inconsistent winds meant no-one, patrons or players, could relax even for a minute.

As the Psychic momentarily relaxed in his recliner his mind did an instant replay recalling great shots and virtual whiffs over four rounds. As the smile grew on his face he thought: “And the winner was…. The Masters Tournament. Once again, The Masters provided the best golf entertainment experience that can be found.” Many things contributed to the wonderful visual experience. The course. The golfers, where else do you see the world’s best players competing on the same course as past champions showing they still have a few tricks in their bag.

For the millions of fans not in attendance, the video coverage provided viewer’s an all-you-can-watch buffet. If the viewing options were full of calories, like great food, the average fan would have gained 50 pounds over four days.

In the end, the Psychic was happy that Rory won and got the monkey off his back. Rory’s eleven-year journey proved how truly difficult it is to join the elusive Grand Slam Club. Only six men in golf history!

The Psychic’s favorite golfer and week-long contender, Bryson DeChambeau, had his name a-top the leaderboard for much of the final round but his ball found a watery grave too often. After Bryson’s final drowning on 15, the Psychic shifted his allegiance to Justin Rose who hovered near the top all four days. With ten birdies in the final round, the Psychic felt sure that Rose would sink his birdie putt on the first play-off hole. When his ball slid just right of the hole, the entire tournament came down to, a gimme in a friendly game, eleven-years-in-the-making dramatic putt. Rory somehow got it done!

For millions of Masters’ fans around the world the viewing options were better than the patrons. With the, ever improving, Masters’ app on his iPhone the Psychic could watch the same action in two or three different ways or three different locations on the grounds – simultaneously.

The Psychic remembers watching the Masters on the old round-screen color television sets in the 1960’s. He thought he was witnessing magic. The more the Psychic thought about the streaming coverage compared to past editions of televised Masters the more he realized the AI improved technology that has been developed to satisfy the see-it-in-a-second expectations of today’s younger generations. Where will technology and streaming take the Masters and other sporting events in the future?

With the thread bare turban placed squarely on his head the Psychic carefully removes the cover over the crystal ball. He is seeking insight to live sports streaming/technology opportunities in the rapidly advancing near future and beyond.

As the vision from the depth of the sphere appears the Psychic is confused. He sees video images of the Augusta airport for Masters week. Over 250 private jets, some the size of airliners, lining the runways. He sees the SoFi Center that is home of TGL the new team golf league. He is transported to Saudi Arabia where nothing can compare to the modern buildings and golf course development. As the video zooms in he sees the under 50 crowd with a variety of devices all watching live sporting events.

As time rapidly passes the Psychic sees fans controlling the vantage point from which they are viewing the sports contests. Cameras must be everywhere the Psychic thinks. He remembers scenes from TGL where cameras from the flagstick streamed shots. This is what fans want, he thought. The streaming comes from inside the action during NFL games – streaming helmet cameras, worn be each player, allow fans to hear and feel the vibration of violent hits. This is live sports viewing of the future. Allowing fans to choose how they choose to participate.

Then the Psychic sees subtle ads appearing in the streaming. Now he understands all the private jets. The producers and developers of this ever-improving streaming live video are only giving fans what they want to sell their brands. Live sports are like Rory’s final putt at the Masters. The results want to be witnessed live. This is Marketing 101 of the future, giving fans what they want and selling brands of the sponsors.
