Minnesota-Wisconsin PGA Junior Cup Matches

In 1998 the Minnesota and Wisconsin PGA Sections formed an event called the Minnesota-Wisconsin PGA Junior Cup Matches. The event consists of the two sections selecting a team of 12 boys and 12 girls to represent their section in a Ryder Cup team-format event. The formats used are four-ball matches (Day One) and individual singles matches (Day Two). One point is awarded for winning a match outright and half a point is awarded for a tie. Juniors from the Minnesota Section are invited based on playing criteria in our events and other top junior golf events in the area. The Minnesota Section has won the event 10 times and the Wisconsin Section has won 12 times and we have had one tie. Team Minnesota has won that past five years! In 2021 the event will be taking place at Rush Creek GC in Maple Grove, Minn. on July 1-2, 2021. This will be the 24^th Annual Event!
