The Players Tour is an invitational program where the Minnesota PGA Junior Golf Committee and staff determines eligibility requirements. This is open to boys and girls ages 13-19. Juniors who have reached their 19th birthday prior to September 1^st, are eligible only if they have immediately finished their senior year of high school. The goal of the Players Tour is to have the top junior golfers in the Section compete on golf courses set up appropriately for a high level of play.

The Players Tour recently crowned their 2022 Players of the Year.

Kagan Kollar is the 2022 Players Tour Boys Player of the Year. Kollar played in 8 Players Tour events earning 1322.3 points. He finished in the top 10 in 7 of this 8 Players Tour events and finished 5th in the Players Tour Tournament of Champions. Kollar won the Players Tour event at Faribault GC/Owatonna GC shooting 75-72–147 (+4) and also won the ‘Sota Series Match Play Championship up at Grandview Lodge – The Pines. He qualified for the Minnesota Boys Junior PGA Championship and then tied for 6th in the tournament. Congratulations Kagan!

Avery Bartels is the 2022 Players Tour Girls Player of the Year. Bartels played in 3 Players Tour events earning 745 points. She won the Players Tour event at Rose Cree GC/Oxbow CC shooting 74-70–144 (+1) and also the Players Tour event at Minnewaska GC/Geneva GC finishing 82-76–158 (+14). She placed second in both the Players Tour event at Bunker Hills GC and the Players Tour Tournament of Champions at the Royal Golf Club earning her the title of Players Tour Player of the Year.
