MOR Time For Golf

If you’ve ever thought about owning your own golf car, need a utility vehicle for your cabin or your neighborhood, find yourself in need of a riding lawnmower or heavy-duty lawn and garden machine or just wanted to find a way to get your lawn cut without actually doing it yourself, we’ve got just the business for you.

Allow us to introduce you to MOR Golf and Utility. MOR Golf and Utility is a “sister” company to Miner’s Outdoor & Rec. Douglas and Kristi Miner have been operating since 2002 in Blooming Prairie and have now partnered with Doug’s sister, Tammy (Miner) Gruidl, to start MOR Golf and Utility in Lakeville.

A family-owned and operated company, MOR Golf and Utility is the Club Car dealer for the Twin Cities. They are also a certified Husqvarna dealer. Tammy’s goal is to provide the latest and greatest in golf carts and outdoor power equipment in Dakota County and all surrounding areas.

There are many Minnesota golf courses that use Club Car, which MOR Golf supports. According to one Twin Cities metro PGA profession, “They are our first choice for golf cars.”

But have you ever thought of owning your own? MOR Golf and Utility offers you the option of choosing from one of their Club Car in stock or customizing your ride direct from Club Car. Current inventory ranges from an economically friendly sub $5,000 range all the way up to a deluxe $20,000 model. With the custom model… well… the sky is the limit.

Need more passenger room for the cabin or lake home? They offer a forward facing four passenger car that allows for four people and golf clubs, making it a multi-purpose golf car.

Speaking of the cabin, are you in need of a new chainsaw or riding mower? They have you covered there too. They offer Husqvarna power tools and mowers. Even if you don’t have a cabin but are looking for a way to find more time to play golf instead of doing yardwork, well then you are certainly in luck.

As an authorized Husqvarna dealer, they can hook you up with a robotic lawn mower to do the work for you. That’s right. They have an option for those of us that would rather spend more time on the links (or… say… spending time with your kids) than cutting the lawn on Saturday mornings.

Introducing AUTOMOWER from Husqvarna.

No that’s not a misprint and it is exactly what you think it is, A ROBOTIC LAWN MOWER! Wouldn’t it be nice to have a robot cutting your lawn while you’re sinking a birdie putt on the 16th hole to put your opponent two strokes down?

Rather than us telling you about it, we got a testimonial from an actual local customer. Meet Tim. A local business owner with a bit too much on his plate this summer.

“I’ve been looking for ways to reduce the time I spend on yard work for years. Sure, I could hire someone to do it for me, but that could lead to other distractions. I’ve been looking at the Husqvarna Automower and finally pulled the trigger on it,” said Tim.

“It came last week, and I don’t know why I waited so long. Luke Ekstrom from MOR Golf and Utility is the expert on automowers. He spent the day determining the best location for the satellite receiver and charging station, programming the automower (we named him Mow Norman on the app) and plotting out the borders of the yard to contain Mow to just the areas that we wanted mowed. I no longer have to think about or spend any time mowing the yard!

The only time that I spend on the yard is checking the app to see what Mow is up to. He can mow in straight lines, grids, diamonds, triangles and random (like a Rhoomba). His schedule is programmed so he mows and automatically returns to his charging station. That’s it, nothing else needed. I can’t say enough for the Automower and the team at MOR Golf. Their attention to detail and customer service is incredible. They’ve given me back 2 1/2 hours a week.”

Pretty high praise and two and a half hours… given the right course… that’s an extra 9 holes per week.

Wouldn’t all of us get better and enjoy golf more if we had that?
