MetLife/Twin Cities Financial Group Participates In LPGA Golf Clinics For Women From MetLife Proceeds to Benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure

Twin Cities Financial Group, an Office of MetLife, recently took part in the LPGA Golf Clinics for Women from MetLife. More than 110 area women came together at Edina’s Minikahda Club for the event, which is designed to help women improve their golf game while learning how to use the sport to build business relationships and networking skills.

“It feels good to know that my company is the Premier Sponsor of an event that is helping to empower women and contributing to a worthwhile cause,” said Danielle Boria, Managing Director, MetLife Twin Cities Financial Group in Bloomington, MN. “The Clinic was a great way to brush up on my golf game while making several new connections. The environment encouraged participants to network and set the foundation for ongoing business and personal relationships.”

The LPGA Golf Clinics for Women-the only series of its kind endorsed by the LPGA-are celebrating 20 years of empowering women in business through the game of golf. A portion of the proceeds from Clinic merchandise sales and a silent auction at each event will be donated to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, a non-profit organization working to eradicate breast cancer as a life threatening disease. To date, the Clinics have donated nearly $800,000 to the charity.
