Support Junior Golf On Your Car

Since early 2007 Wisconsin golf enthusiasts have been able to wear their affection for the game on their bumpers.
Even though the license plate has been available for a few years the state Department of Transportation and the PGA Wisconsin Section want to remind you to tee off with its "Golf Wisconsin" license plate. For an extra $25 per year, golfers can drive from the 19th hole at one course to the first tee at the next course with vehicle plates bearing the Golf Wisconsin logo on the left side and, below the license number, the legend "Support Junior Golf."
An alliance between the state Department of Tourism, the Wisconsin State Golf Association, the Golf Course Owners of Wisconsin and the PGA's Wisconsin section, Golf Wisconsin provides free instruction and free golf opportunities for youths.
Three-fourths of proceeds from sales of the new plates will go toward supporting junior golf programs under the auspices of the PGA's Wisconsin section. The remaining 25% is earmarked for state Department of Tourism promotion of golfing in Wisconsin.
Who is eligible? Any Wisconsin resident. Golf Wisconsin plates are available for: Automobile, Motor Home (annual registration only), Truck 4,500, 6,000 or 8,000 pound gross weight including dual purpose farm and dual purpose motor home and 12,000 pound gross weight farm truck.

Order a Golf Wisconsin License Plate today and help support Junior Golf throughout Wisconsin. You will be helping introduce golf to a child, and the positive lessons that will come with it, like self-confidence, camaraderie, etiquette, fair play and many other life skills.
Applications for the Golf Wisconsin plates are available at state Department of Transportation offices and at www.wiscjuniorgolf.com.
